Integrated Myofascial Therapy for the treatment of chronic pain and injury

I have over ten years’ experience as a soft tissue therapist. My first training was with the London School of Sports Massage. Between 2017-8 a series of courses with MFR UK enabled me to gain the sensitive touch and subtle techniques required to treat people with chronic pain conditions and help them regain balance and ease in their bodies. These holistic MFR techniques have transformed outcomes for many of my clients. I take life-style factors into account, and support self-care. I am a keen yoga practitioner; yoga is an excellent way to develop strength, balance and flexibility, regardless of lifestyle

I work with a range of clients, from sportspeople preparing for events or recovering from injury, to post-operative people looking to regain full function and balance in their bodies. I am interested in chronic pain symptoms such as headaches, back or neck pain, and shoulder joint restrictions. I find myofascial treatment extremely helpful for the symptoms of conditions including fibromyalgia or IBS. I also treat symptoms associated with women’s health, particularly discomfort experienced around menopause. During all treatments I consider factors such as posture, lifestyle, and breathing patterns. Rehabilitative exercises are given and practised together, where needed to support recovery.
