Integrated Myofascial Therapy for chronic issues and stress-related pain

Deborah has completed the certificate in Integrated Myofascial Release Therapy and has an MFHT, iTEC Dip 3 in Massage. She taught yoga, meditation and movement for over 15 years before taking the skills she learnt about holistic well-being to the therapeutic massage couch. She is currently being mentored by an advanced MFR practitioner who specialises in post-operative myofascial and scar tissue work. Deborah offers MFR as part of her clinical practice - both on its own and in tandem with Swedish massage techniques where appropriate.

Deborah was inspired to train in MFR after it helped effectively address the chronic physical symptoms she’d suffered from years of snowboarding, cycling and running; she then wanted to offer it to as many people as possible! She is passionate about integrated wellbeing - her sessions seeking to offer relief for chronic aches and pains and stress-related tension, as well as supporting the nervous system. She believes in educating her clients as to what is going on in their body from a fascial perspective, so that not only do they potentially have greater access to better mobility and less pain, but may also feel more empowered as to their symptoms and how to stay resourced for living in a busy world.
